1．祭司の装束の製作（39:1-31）
祭司たちの衣装が作られていきます。ここでも「主がモーセに命じられたとおりである」と著者は繰り返します。本章のみならず次の章でも7度同じことばが繰り返されています。神の命令に、イスラエルの民がしっかり丁寧に従ったことを強調しているのでしょう。このように一つ一つ判を押したように、確実に作業を進めていくあり様に、神のことばに従う姿勢を教えられます。
教会を建てることについて、これほど設計者である神の意図を考え、それを実現するように建て上げていく姿勢があるだろうか、と考えさせられます。礼拝や奉仕の在り方にしても、さらには教会の運営の在り方にしても、いや、もっと個人的な部分で、自らの教会に対する姿勢や関わり方について、神の御心を重んじる歩みがあるだろうか、と。
パウロは言います。「だれかがこの土台の上に、金、銀、宝石、木、草、藁で家を建てると、それぞれの働きは明らかになります。「その日」がそれを明るみに出すのです。その日は火とともに現れ、この火が、それぞれの働きがどのようなものかを試すからです。」（１コリント3:12-16）イエス・キリストという土台の上に、どのような素材を選んで自らを建てあげていくのかに注意せよというわけです（マタイ7:24）。素材を選び抜き、最も良いもので、丁寧に建て上げていく。どこか作りがいい加減なものであれば、結局、そのそしりは免れ得ません。「三匹の小豚」の話ではありませんが、藁と木とレンガで作った家の内、狼の攻撃に守られたのは、レンガの家だけであったようなものです。
教会はセメントをこねれば建つと言います。しかし、神が私たちに期待しているのは、箱モノを作ることではありません。箱の中にいる人たちを霊的に育て上げることです。キリストにある罪の赦しにしっかりと立ち、神の和解の福音を証しし、神を礼拝する民を育て上げることです。そうであればこそ、教会には霊的な力があるのです。使徒パウロは、「私たちの戦いの武器は、肉のものではなく、神のために要塞をも打ち倒す力があるものです」（２コリント10:4）と語りました。私たちにキリストのいのちが満ち溢れ、一致した歩みをするなら、そこには、世の光となり希望となる教会の力強さも生まれるのです。
2．幕屋製作作業の終了（39:32-43）
32節「こうして、会見の天幕である幕屋のすべての奉仕が終わった」と言います。私たちの奉仕にも、いずれ終わりの時が来ます。その際に、私たちはどのような報告をするのでしょうか。私たちの奉仕がたとえ人に評価されることがなく、つまらないものであるかのように見られていることがあったとしても、神の前に丁寧に「主が命じられたとおりにした。そのようにした」と言える、忠実なものであるかが問題です。
神が私たちに期待することは、大それたことではありません。むしろ小さなことかもしれません。例えば周囲の人々を愛することにしても、それは身近な親、子ども、妻、あるいは同僚に、感謝すべき時に感謝し、また、助けるべき時に助けることに他なりません。そのような関わりの中で、神が命じられていることを忠実に行っていく、そしてその奉仕を終える時が来るのです。
43節「モーセがすべての仕事を見ると、彼らは、見よ、主が命じられたとおりに行っていた。そこでモーセは彼らを祝福した」と言います。仕事をし、その通りの物ができ、確認してよしとする。そして、これを祝福する（創世記1，2章）。それはまさに神が、天地の初めに物事を創造したパターンを思い出すところです。
大切なのは、創世記と出エジプト記がつながっていることを考えることでしょう。創世記においては、神は、モノとしての天地、そして人をお造りになり、そこに神が召し出す、神との関係を持つ人々を設けられました。アブラハム、イサク、ヤコブ、ヨセフに至るイスラエル民族です。出エジプト記では、これらの人々に対する、神の戒め、彼らが神を礼拝する民、神の民となるための、神の深いかかわりと教えが語られています。
人は、この地上に、野生動物のように生まれ出てきたのではなく、神に造られた者として、神と共に生きる存在です。いよいよ出エジプト記も残るところあと一章、しかし、さらにレビ記、民数記と読み進み、人がどのように生きることが本当なのかを学んでまいりましょう。神の祝福がありますように。チャンネル登録、メンバー登録よろしくお願いいたします。では、また明日、このチャンネルでお会いしましょう。

- Making the Priestly Garments (39:1-31)
The priests’ garments were made exactly as God commanded. The author repeatedly states, “just as the Lord commanded Moses,” emphasizing the Israelites careful obedience. This teaches us to follow God’s words precisely.
When building the church, we should consider and implement God’s design carefully. This applies to worship, service, church operations, and personal involvement with the church. Paul says, “If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light” (1 Corinthians 3:12-13). We must build our lives on the foundation of Jesus Christ with the best materials (Matthew 7:24). A poorly built house will not withstand challenges, like in the story of “The Three Little Pigs.”
Building the church is not just about constructing buildings. It’s about spiritually nurturing the people within. We need to stand firm in the forgiveness of sins through Christ, testify to God’s reconciliation, and raise a worshiping community. The church has spiritual power when we are united in Christ’s life. Paul says, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). A church filled with Christ’s life and walking in unity becomes a beacon of hope and light to the world.
- Completion of the Tabernacle (39:32-43)
Verse 32 says, “So all the work on the Tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed.” Our service to God will also come to an end one day. The important question is whether we can say, “I did everything just as the Lord commanded,” regardless of whether our service is recognized or seems insignificant to others.
God doesn’t expect grand things from us but faithfulness in small matters. This includes loving those around us by expressing gratitude and helping when needed. We should faithfully follow God’s commands in these relationships until our service ends.
Verse 43 says, “Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.” This echoes God’s creation pattern in Genesis 1-2, where He inspected and blessed His creation.
It’s important to see the connection between Genesis and Exodus. In Genesis, God created the world and people, establishing a relationship with them. This included Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, leading to the nation of Israel. In Exodus, God gives His laws and deeply engages with His people to make them His worshiping community.
