1．詩篇について
今日から詩篇に入ります。約5か月の長距離マラソン。通読の難所、しかし走り抜ければもう預言書という下り坂が見えて来る、そして最も楽しい難所です。
さて詩篇はヘブル語でテヒリームと言います。それは「賛美の歌」を意味しています。全体的に希望感にあふれ、神の普遍性、至高性、永遠性などへの賛美が綴られています。それは率直に自らの心情を語ります。つまり、そこには、今の私たちの心に語り掛ける内容があります。ただ、ヨブ記を前提として読むべきもの、と私は考えます。というのも、神と人の違いを弁え、キリストの贖いに寄り頼む心を大切にしないと、それは、厚かましい祈りや賛美となりかねないからです。今日はその最初の一篇、詩編全体の導入であり、要約とも言うべき一篇を読んでまいりましょう。
2．幸いな者の歩み（1:1-3）
1篇は、幸いな者の歩みを、消極的な面（1節）、積極的な面（2節）から対比し、その結果をまとめています（3節）。
まず、幸いな者の消極的な面から。彼は識別力を働かせ「はかりごとに歩まず」、「罪人の道に立たず」、「嘲る者の座に着かない人」です。つまり、自分がどのようなポジションに立っているのか、また進んでいるのかに心を配ります。これは悪いはかりごとである、悪者の歩みだ、と感じるなら、そのような歩みにはそれ以上踏み込まないのです。心に歯止めをしっかりかけられる人です。「嘲る者」は、神の戒めを軽んじる者です。悔い改めるべき時に、それを拒否する人です。
しかし幸いな者は、消極的に自分の行いを律するだけではありません。彼は積極的な人生を生きます（2節）。まず主のおしえを喜びとするのです。神様おはようございます、と朝毎に期待感を持って神の前に出て、神のみおしえに耳を傾けるのです。そして、神の教えを瞑想するというのではありません、小鳥がさえずるように、聖書のことばを口ずさむのです。時間があれば、繰り返し聖書を開き、神のことばを味わい、自らの心に浸透させていく。神のみことばを魂に打ち込み、染み込ませていくのです。事実、人の思いを支配するものが、その人の人生を形作るものでしょう。貪欲な思いが心を支配していれば、そのような行動と人生が生まれます。しかし、神の聖い、愛に満ちたみ教えに支配されるなら、それは当然その人を潤し、他人にもその祝福を及ぼす行動と人生を形作るのです（3節）。それは水路の側に移植された木にたとえられています。果樹は時が来れば実を結びます。しかも実を結ぶ行為は一度限りではありません。繰り返し繰り返し豊かな実を結ぶのです。
3．悪しき者の歩み（1:4-6）
さて後半は、前半に対比し、悪しき者の歩みが語られます。それは風が吹き飛ばすもみ殻、何かが起こると跡形もなくなってしまうというのでしょう。確かに悪しき者は、たとえこの世の崖っぷちをうまく渡りを得ることができたとしても、終末的な神のふるいに耐えることはできません（5節）。その日は、殻やわらくずが吹き飛ばされ、穀粒だけが残る日です。わらの人間、わらの人生が明らかにされる日なのです（1コリント3:12-13）。
また彼は、正しい者の集い、つまり神を礼拝する場に立つことができません。確かに、礼拝は神の恵みと御業を想起し、神を認める行為です。確かに、神を軽んじ、神に背を向け続けてきた人生を歩んできて、最後だけ、天の恵みに与るなどあり得ない話です。天の御国の祝福は、天の御国を目指して歩み続けてきた者にこそふさわしいのです。具体的に、週ごとの礼拝を大事にして教会に集い、奉仕する人生があればこそ、天の祝福も確信しうるでしょう。
最後に6節、「主は正しい者の道を知っておられる」とあります。親が子を知るように、神は正しい者の歩みを知っておられます。悪には距離を取り、神には積極的に近づいていく、誰もそのような人生に関心をもたずとも、神は知っておられます。エレミヤは自身の預言書にこの言葉を引用したように思われます（エレミヤ書17:5-8）。ただ、その引用はより積極的な解釈を施すものです。彼は言います。「主が心を探り、心の奥を試し、それぞれその生き方により、行いの実に従って報いる」（10節）。報いてくださる主を覚えたいところです。では今日もよき一日となるように祈ります。

Volume 1, Psalm 1: Two Paths
1. About the Psalms
Today we begin the Psalms. It is a long distance marathon of about 5 months. It is the most difficult part of the marathon, but also the most enjoyable, because once you get through it, you can already see the downhill slope of the prophetic books.
The Hebrew word for Psalms is tehillim. It means “song of praise. Overall, the Psalm is full of hope and praise for God’s universality, supremacy, and eternity. It speaks frankly of its own feelings. In other words, there is something there that speaks to our hearts today. However, I believe that the book of Job should be read as a prerequisite. If we don’t respect the difference between God and man, and if we don’t lean on Christ’s redemption, it may become a kind of insincere prayer or praise. Today we will read the first Psalm, which is an introduction and summary of the entire Psalm.
2. the steps of the blessed (1:1-3)
Psalm 1 contrasts the steps of the blessed in terms of their negative (verse 1) and positive aspects (verse 2), and summarizes the results (verse 3).
We begin with the passive aspect of the blessed one. He is one who exercises discernment and “does not walk in the measure,” “does not stand in the way of sinners,” and “does not sit in the seat of scoffers.” In other words, he is mindful of what position he is standing and advancing in. If you feel that this is an evil design, that it is the walk of the wicked, then you will not go any further in that walk. He is the one who can put a firm stop to his heart. A “scoffer” is one who disrespects God’s commandments. He is the one who refuses to repent when he should.
But the blessed man does not only passively discipline his conduct. He lives an active life (v. 2). First of all, he rejoices in the Lord’s instruction. He comes before God each morning with a sense of anticipation, saying, “Good morning, God,” and listens to God’s instruction. We are not to meditate on God’s teachings, but rather to hum the words of the Bible as a little bird chirps. Whenever we have time, we open the Bible repeatedly, taste God’s words, and let them permeate our own hearts. We are to let God’s Word strike and soak into our souls. In fact, what dominates a person’s thoughts is probably what shapes his or her life. If covetous thoughts dominate one’s mind, such behavior and life will result. But if they are governed by God’s holy and loving instruction, it will naturally enrich the person and shape his behavior and life that will extend its blessings to others (v. 3). It is likened to a tree transplanted by the side of a waterway. A fruit tree bears fruit when the time is right. Moreover, the act of bearing fruit is not a one-time event. It bears abundant fruit over and over again.
3. the walk of the wicked (1:4-6)
In contrast to the first half, the second half describes the steps of the wicked. It is the husk that the wind blows away, and when something happens to it, there will be no trace of it. Certainly the wicked will not be able to withstand the eschatological sieve of God, even if they are able to successfully gain passage over the precipice of this world (v. 5). That day will be the day when the husks and straw sheaves will be blown away and only the kernels will remain. It is the day when the man of straw and the life of straw will be revealed (1 Cor. 3:12-13).
Nor can he stand in the assembly of the righteous, the place of worship of God. Certainly, worship is an act of remembering and acknowledging God’s grace and works. Indeed, it is impossible to have lived a life of disrespecting God and turning our backs on Him, only to end up with heavenly blessings. The blessings of the Kingdom of Heaven are only for those who have continued to walk toward the Kingdom of Heaven. Specifically, a life of gathering and serving in the church, cherishing the weekly worship service, is the only way to be sure of heaven’s blessings.
Finally, verse 6 says, “The Lord knows the ways of the righteous. As a parent knows his children, so God knows the steps of the righteous. God knows how to keep one’s distance from evil and to draw near to God, even if no one else is interested in such a life. Jeremiah seems to have quoted these words in his own prophetic book (Jeremiah 17:5-8). However, the quotation gives a more positive interpretation. He says. “The Lord searches the heart and tests the innermost recesses of the heart, and rewards each according to the fruit of his deeds, according to the way he lives” (v. 10). We want to remember the Lord who rewards us. I pray that today will be another good day.
