30章　主にあって奮い立つ

1．支援者に見捨てられるダビデ

ダビデにとっては、最悪の事態が生じています。同胞のイスラエルと戦う危機から救われたと思って、家に戻ってみるとただならぬ事態が生じていたのです。家々が荒らされ、燃やされて、暖かく出迎えてくれるはずの家族が皆連れ去られていたのです。これを見たダビデの部下たちは、そのやり場のない悲しみと怒りを、ダビデに向けます。一難去ってまた一難、ダビデはさらなる窮地に立たせられています。

人の人生は複雑です。全く予想もせぬ事態が起こりうるのです。そもそもの始まりは、サウルの妬みでした。質の悪い上司に憎まれたわけです。実際には、それだけでも辛いということはあるものでしょう。ですから、そのような辛さの中で、側に立って支えてくれる人が現れるというのは、慰めであり、励ましです。ところが、そのような支援者からも見捨てられていく、さらには攻撃されていくという、絶体絶命の窮地に立たされることもあるのです。ダビデだけではありません。人生とは残酷なものです。そのように考えてみると、イエスもそうです。いや、土壇場において弟子たちに見捨てられ、さらに神にまで見捨てられたイエスを思えば、ダビデの経験もまだ序の口かもしれません。彼は神には見捨てられなかったわけですから。

2．ダビデの解決

ともあれ、寄り添ってくれた身内にまで敵対されるような、絶体絶命の窮地に立たされたダビデ、彼はいかに、その危機を乗り越えたのでしょうか。聖書は、彼が、その苦悩の中にあって、「自分の神、主によって奮い立った」と言います。実に、神が私たちを見捨てられることがないのであれば、どのような苦境においても命ある限り希望はあるものです。主によって奮い立てるか否かが問題です。ダビデはこの苦境にあって、神を恨んだり、毒づいたりするのではなく、むしろ神を信頼して、立ったのです。ピンチはチャンスと言われますが、そのように、ピンチをチャンスに変える精神力は、まさに神の誠実さに信頼するところに生じるものなのでしょう。ダビデは詩篇の中でこう祈っています。「私の心の苦しみが大きくなりました。どうかこの苦悩から私を引き出してください。」（詩篇25:17）。

さてダビデは、具体的に行動を起こすために、主に問いかけました。そして主の指示に従って、すぐさま、全兵士を引き連れて追跡を開始しました。途中、その行軍についていけない脱落者が生じています。確かに、南部の砂漠地帯の追跡は、エネルギーを消耗するものであったでしょう。そして、たまたま、瀕死のエジプト人を見つけることがなかったなら、彼らは当てもなく、砂漠地帯をうろうろすることになったはずです。ともあれエジプト人の道案内のおかげで、ダビデの一行は、アマレクの陣営を発見することができ、らくだで逃げた400人を除いて彼らを皆殺しにし、すべての捕虜や略奪品を取り戻すことができたのです。奮い立ったのはダビデとはいえ、まさに神の助けによって、ダビデは自らの名誉を保ったと言うべきでしょう。

3．主の助けを受け止めるダビデ

帰途、彼らは先に脱落した者たちとベソル川で合流しました。するとそこで、戦利品を、脱落者たちに分配するか否かの問題が生じました。ダビデが裁可を振るっています。この戦闘の勝利は主によるものである、だから戦利品は主のものであるし、主がこれを聖絶するのではなく彼らに分け与えてくださるならば、それは皆で平等に分け与えなくてはならない、と言います。まさに、自分の力ではない神の恵みで成し遂げられたことならば、その恵みを分かち合う心を大事にしなくてはなりません。また、ダビデは、自分の部隊のみならず、同じように略奪で苦しめられていた隣人のユダの人々を忘れませんでした。ダビデは、ユダの人々に、戦利品の一部であるとして、ユダの長老たちに贈り物をしています。ダビデが私腹を肥やそうとはせず、主の恵みをできるだけ多くの人々と共有しようとしたことに注意すべきです。ただ神に助けていただくのではない、助けていただいた恵みを、豊かに用いる心を大事にしたいものです。では今日もよき一日となるように祈ります。

Chapter 30 Inspired by the Lord

1. David abandoned by supporters

For David, the worst is happening. Thinking he was saved from the crisis of fighting his compatriot Israel, when he returned home, something extraordinary happened. The houses were devastated, burned, and all the families who were supposed to be warmly welcomed were taken away. Upon seeing this, David’s men turn their unfocused sadness and anger toward David. One hardship and another hardship, David is in further trouble.

A person’s life is complicated. A completely unexpected situation can occur. The beginning was Saul’s envy. He was hated by his poor boss. In reality, that alone can be painful. Therefore, it is comforting and encouraging to see someone who stands by and supports us in such a painful situation. However, there are times when such supporters are abandoned and even attacked, putting them in a desperate situation. It’s not just David. Life is cruel. Thinking that way, so is Jesus. No, David’s experience may still be the beginning, given Jesus, who was abandoned by his disciples at the last minute and even by God. He wasn’t abandoned by God.

2. David’s solution

In any case, how did he overcome the crisis, David, who was in a desperate situation where he was hostile to his relatives who were close to him? The Bible says that he was “found strength in the Lord his God” in his anguish. Indeed, if God does not abandon us, there is hope in any predicament as long as we live. The question is whether or not to be inspired by the Lord. In this predicament, David stood in this predicament, not resenting or poisoning God, but rather trusting him. A pinch is said to be an opportunity, but the spiritual power to turn a pinch into an opportunity is exactly what comes from trusting in God’s integrity. David prays in his psalm: “Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.  ” (Psalm 25:17).

Now, David mainly asked in order to take concrete action. And, following his Lord’s instructions, he immediately began pursuing with all his soldiers. Along the way, there are dropouts who can’t keep up with his march. Indeed, tracking the southern desert would have been energy consuming. And if they happened to find no dying Egyptians, they would have been wandering around the desert. Anyway, thanks to the Egyptian directions, David’s party was able to discover Amalek’s camp, kill them all except the 400 who fled in the crap, and recover all the prisoners and plunder. It was. Although it was David who was inspired, it should be said that with the help of God, David kept his honor.

3. David receiving the help of the Lord

On their way home, they joined the ones who dropped out earlier on the Besol River. Then, the question of whether to distribute the loot to the dropouts arose. David is waving the royal assent. The victory of this battle is due to the Lord, so the loot belongs to the Lord, and if the Lord gives it to them rather than to sanctify it, it must be shared equally among all. He says. Indeed, if it is accomplished by the grace of God, not our own power, we must cherish the heart of sharing that grace. Also, David did not forget not only his troops, but also the people of his neighbor Judah, who were similarly afflicted by looting. David is giving the people of Judah a gift to the elders of Judah as part of his loot. It should be noted that David did not try to fertilize his self-sufficiency, but tried to share the grace of his Lord with as many people as possible. However, he does not want God to help him, but he wants to cherish the heart to use the grace that he has helped abundantly. I pray that today will be a good day.
